What a day.

Well there kiddies,

I just wanted to post my thoughts on this historic day.

I woke up this morning with a feeling of apprehension. I was apprehensive for no reason. Sometimes it just comes over me. Well, my apprehension was just because I spent so much time watching the tele today that I missed out on my chance to do a load of laundry before work.  Therefor I didn’t have time to properly prepare for work today. So I hopped in the shower and bathed and rushed out the door.  I made it in time, but I started out feeling behind the eight ball.

So, I got to work and was able to listen to a bit more of the inaugural festivities. So, back to my post.

We have a new President and Vice-President. The old ones were seen to be, one limping out to pasture due to “pulled back muscle” and the other  just being his usual doddering self. Not only do we have a new President, but we had a bit of a scare during the Presidential Luncheon when Sen. Kennedy collapsed and had to be rushed out and taken to the hospital. I have not heard any word on his condition lately, but I will check on that in the morning.

I guess I have not really made mention of my feelings on this yet have I?  Well, I guess I am still trying to digest all that this transition of power means to me and my life. Maybe in a few months I will have been able to process and digest and will be able to post my thoughts in a more clear post.

So, to all you kids out there, change has come to Washington D.C. and it is about time. Now we need to keep the pressure on our Elected Officials to follow through with their promises.
