Laguna Beach opposes gay marriage ban.

It appears that one city is willing to stand up to proponents of California’s Proposition 8, which most anti-gay groups are trying to push onto the November ballot to change the states constitution to ban gay marriages by defining that marriage is between one man and one woman.

Via Towleroad. The city mayor addressed the council and spoke to attendees that it only takes two council members to bring an issue before the council to be discussed and voted on. It also appears that the majority of the council agreed with the two members, they all seem to agree with that the ban is wrong.
