The Nines Cafe & TC’s Got Talent

.Maybe late news, unless you haven’t heard it. But the Nines Cafe (formerly Vera’s) will not be opening. Here is what they posted…

“Dear Friends,

Since February, our team has worked tirelessly to bring The Nines Cafe to life. We have overcome many of the challenges that are par for the course in starting a new business. It has not been easy, but the rewards of all of your kind words, help, and support has made made it a worthwhile and humbling experience.
We were so confident in our endeavor to even go forward with a Facebook page. Shortly after doing so, we have encountered obstacles that despite our best efforts, are proving to be insurmountable.
As a result, there will be no Nines Cafe.
Our heartfelt disappointment comes not from losing our dream, but from knowing we are disappointing all of our friends.
We are so very sorry.

Very sad as Vera’s was a great place & Rachael and Chad’s vision sounded lovely.

Secondly, Just came back from Margie Pederson’s Twin Cites Got Talent, and it was a lovely time had by all. Kudos to Margie for pulling together a great show from all angles. It was a funny, classy, entertaining evening. There was talk of a season 2. Am I right?

Sorry I haven’t been posting but the good local gay businesses seem to be keeping their noses clean. (or people are afraid to talk with me) Again bubbies, if you have something to report and remain anonymous, simply email gossipjew@gmail.com . (I would check some sources though)

Start planning on our game show in January. And there’s talk of a new game show at a new venue too. (keeping that hush hush until the details are worked out)
