Are You Offended by the word “Faggot”?

Hi there kiddies,

I ask this question: Are you offended by the word “faggot”?

I ask because I was reading on another site that some football(american) player used this word as an expletive towards members of the media and a fan on twitter. He and his agent apparently don’t think that this word is a “bad” word. Just like they probably use the word “gay” to mean bad also.

I know that I sometimes use the word in stead of gay, but I feel bad about using it. I still feel, for me, that this word has been used as a negative for so long that I still associate it as a bad word and don’t like the use of if by anyone.
